Cancellations & Refunds Policy

This policy forms an integral part of the FoodCanvas Terms & Conditions. By purchasing credits or otherwise using the Service, you accept the rules below.
1. All Sales Final
Irreversible digital delivery – Once a credit is deducted and the AI-generated Output (image, video, or other media file) is made available for download, the transaction is irrevocable. Digital products cannot be “returned,” and DFS provides no refunds, exchanges, or credit re-purchases in the ordinary course of business.
2. Exceptional Circumstances
DFS may, at its sole discretion, issue a refund or re-credit only in the limited scenarios listed below:

Exclusions: Payment failures, gateway time-outs, user-initiated chargebacks, or dissatisfaction with creative style do not qualify for exceptions.
3. How to Request an Exception
- Email a concise explanation and supporting evidence (gateway receipt, screenshots, bank SMS) to support@foodcanvas.app within 72 hours of the charge.
- Our billing team will acknowledge your request within two (2) business days.
- A final decision or resolution is normally issued within ten (10) business days.
Note: DFS may request additional documentation (e.g., card statement redacted to show only the disputed line item). Failure to provide the requested proof may lead to denial of the request.
4. Limitation of Liability
In every event, the maximum liability of DFS arising from an erroneous or duplicate charge shall never exceed the exact value of the amount incorrectly charged.
DFS is not accountable for issues caused by third-party payment processors, banks, card networks, or user mistakes (such as multiple clicks or expired sessions).
5. Cancellations
- You may close your FoodCanvas account at any time from the profile settings or by emailing support.
- Unused or remaining credits expire upon account closure and are non-refundable.
- DFS reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts in accordance with the Terms & Conditions; such administrative cancellations do not trigger any refund obligation.
6. Dispute Escalation
If you remain dissatisfied after receiving DFS’s final decision, you may pursue the arbitration or small-claims remedies outlined under “Governing Law & Dispute Resolution” in the Terms & Conditions. Initiating a card chargeback before completing the above process may lead to permanent account closure.
